Owning an independent optometry practice has been Karlee’s dream for the last 15 years since graduating from the University of Auckland in 2006. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring future and new graduate optometrists to ensure excellence of the profession continues and patients are given the superior quality testing they deserve. By paying it forward, Karlee can give back to the profession that she loves. Over the past 12 years she has worked for smaller, independent practices as well as many of the big corporate companies and optometry chains, learning what she likes and dislikes along the way. For this reason Karlee is very passionate about both the glasses/contact lenses that people wear and the health of their eyes, focusing on preventative eye care. Karlee’s vision for Look Of Australia has made a commitment to “Eyecare for Life”.
